Chelsea vs. Manchester United predicted lineups

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Raheem Sterling could be recalled to the starting XI after Potter opted to rest the pair in place of Armando Bruja and Kai Heuertz for the draw against Brentford.

Wesley Fofana (knee), Reece James (knee), and Ngolu Kante (thigh) are long-term absentees.

Chelsea predicted line-up (3-4-3): Kepa (GK) — Azpilicueta, Silva, Chalobah — Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho, Kovacic, Cucurella — Sterling, Mount; Aubameyang

Cristiano Ronaldo will have to wait a while for another start after failing to get any minutes against Tottenham. Ten Hague has since confirmed that Ronaldo has ruled out coming on as a late substitute and has been left out of the West London traveling squad.

Christian Eriksen is back in training but Fred’s impressive display and goal against Spurs could keep him in his place.

Axel Tuanzebe, Brandon Williams, Harry Maguire (hamstring), Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Donny van de Beek (both hamstring), and Anthony Martial (back) are all nursing injuries.

Manchester United Predicted Lineup (4-2-3-1): De Gea (GK) – Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Shaw – Casemiro, Fred – Antony, Fernandes, Sancho – Rashford.

Chelsea vs. Manchester United betting odds

United’s attacking threat against Tottenham was clear for all to see but they came against a Chelsea side who have kept clean sheets in their last five Premier League games.

The Buckeyes have the home side slight favorites but Potter’s team selection will be crucial and a return to the starting side for Sterling and Aubameyang is the obvious choice if the Blues are to pick up the crucial three points in west London. However, ex-Liverpool and Manchester City forward Sterling is yet to score in 23 career matches against United.
