Barcelona has unveiled their new third kit for the 2022-23 season which will be worn for the first time in tonight’s charity friendly against Manchester City at the Camp Nou.
As we’ve seen in some leaks before it’s a light gray shirt with the Cross of St. Jordi running down the middle of the jersey.
Barca says that unlike last season the third strip “will not be exclusive to European competitions” but “will alternate with the first and second kits.”
The club also acknowledges that the design “represents a major departure from the traditional style of Barca strips” and explains the motivation for the shirt as this year’s “granting of the said cross to FC Barcelona by the Government of Catalonia”. 30th anniversary is being celebrated.”
The kit is finished with light gray shorts. The socks are the same color with a narrow Blaugrana band running down the middle.
And now it’s up to you to tell us what you think of the new kit! Like it? Hate it? Tomorrow? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
