Jandro Orellana has been vocal about his exit from Barcelona and insists the decision to leave Camp Nou was his.
The midfielder was once tipped to replace Sergio Busquets at the Camp Nou but was let go in the summer after his contract at the club expired.
Barca was expected to give the midfielder a renewal but he has moved to Andorra instead and is happy with his decision.
“It was my decision, I think my time with Barça Atlético is over,” he said.
“You are always left with the pain of not playing with the first team, but who knows in the future I will be able to come back.”
Jandro is now working with Quique Setien’s former assistant Eder Sarabia at FC Andorra and is looking forward to the new season with his new club.
“I think a very ambitious plan has been put in place,” he added. “They work in a very professional and serious manner. It’s exactly what I wanted. I’m in a great place.”

Barca Athletic will certainly look very different in 2022-23. Jandro was one of the players left out, while coach Sergi Barjuan has been replaced by Rafa Marquez.
