Captain Delaney remained not out on 36 runs.

The parties will meet again on Tuesday and Thursday.

Harley scored 52 off 42 balls, helped by opener Elsa Lister’s 25 off 19 balls.

The Scots made 31 for the first wicket before Lister was dismissed and, after losing two more wickets cheaply, a fourth-wicket stand of 65 between Harley and Lorna Jack put them on a firmer footing.

Ireland booked their spot in the series with a 3-0 ODI series win against the Netherlands.
